The “Soul Buddies” is a young band formed by musicians who share a long musical experience around blues, soul, jazz and rhythm and blues. The band was formed at the end of 2011 inspired by the desire to revive the sound and the emotion of the music that conquered most of radios during the ’50s and the ’60s. The seven musicians wish to bring to light some of the ever-green hits together with some original compositions written and arranged by the band itself. The sound of the Soul Buddies reflects the true essence of American bands of the mid ‘900, using a rich and balanced lineup featuring a horn section that perfectly blends with the rest of the band to create the right sound for the genre.

In a few months the band has been invited to perform during some of the most important Italian soul and blues festivals such as Porretta Soul Festival, Blues in Town at Policoro, Festival Blues Città at Brindisi, Spiagge Soul Festival at Ravenna and performed a large quantity of gigs around Italy.

Recently the band has been enriched by the overwhelming figure of Marianna D’ Amario as solo singer and Fabrizio Ginoble as piano and Hammond organ player.
